Early morning person? Need a little more time? We’ve got the service for you!

So first, you arrive at Live Oak. We’ve got plenty of parking, including special spaces in front just for first time visitors. (You can also park in the daycare next door, or on the street.) Come in through either the door by the office or the big red front doors. We have greeters at both, who will guide you to the sanctuary.

Sunday morning, we begin gathering at 9:45 am. The service begins at 10:00 am, but we encourage you to take a look around, maybe meet a few people.

Got a wee one? We’ve got a nursery with professional caregivers. You can check your baby/toddler in, knowing that they’ll be treated with utmost care. Prefer to keep them with you? We understand, and we welcome all ages in the worship service.

At 10:00 am, our service begins. There will be music, a special story for all ages, music, songs that are projected up on a screen, readings, an offering, and a sermon.

The service ends at 10:45. Religious education classes are offered from about 11:00-11:55. We also have unstructured “fellowship time” with coffee and conversation. It’s a great way to get to know members of Live Oak.

Our service is live-streamed on Youtube.

About Worship at Live Oak

Our Worship Services are weekly reflections that weave together reflections on relevant topics with music, beauty, poetry, and words that both comfort and challenge. Our programs for all ages inspire us, and awaken us to our capacities to make a difference in our own lives and in the world.

We gather together in spiritual community to reminded about the values we choose to guide our lives. In a world of heartbreak and dehumanization, our congregations and communities call us to our better selves. We learn to live with more wisdom, more connection, and more compassion.
