After the new motion pictures dazzled him, Zak began reading the epic Dune saga. In it, he found startling articulations of liberal religious ideals that he is excited to share.

Bio: Zak (He/Him) is a second-year seminary student, life-long UU, and eager fantasy fan. When COVID shook him out of his previous career as a math teacher, Zak began discerning a call to prison chaplaincy. Zak lives in Austin with his fiancé, Maya, and dog, Uther Pendragon.
