Live Oak is hosting a Total Eclipse Watch Party on Monday April 8th from noon to 3 pm. The Eclipse will begin 12:17 PM and end at 2:58 PM. Totality will be from 1:35:40 PM to 1:38:56 PM. The Totality duration is 1:46 seconds. (Blink and you’ll miss it.)
There will a limited supply of Eclipse Glasses available, if you are willing to share. (Otherwise, it is not too late to get some. There are some at the HEB.)
Live Oak will also be providing water and lemonade.
Ander Schenstrom will give an explanation of the Eclipse (with models) to the kids (and adults) at noon sharp.
Please bring a chair to sit on. (Go on. Get your camp chair and put it in your car trunk right now!)
If the weather will not allow the Eclipse to be viewed, we will be watching the NASA coverage in the Sanctuary.
