Your Religious Panorama: Luggage and Baggage

From our religious past to our current spiritual explorations, we are called to sort out what is luggage and what is baggage. Luggage is those beliefs and values which we carry forward because they serve us well. Baggage is the painful, rigid, fearful muck that weighs us down.

On Tuesday evenings, October 18-November 22, from 7-8:30 pm, Rev. Chuck Freeman and Sylvia Davis, LPC/Certified Psychodramatist (retired) will lead an experiential group to assist discerning our luggage and baggage on the spiritual carousel.

The group will move along a continuum of working through and letting go of past wounds, to assessing historic and contemporary beliefs we desire to carry forward and integrate. Sharing, psychodrama, and homework will be employed. The sessions will culminate in a healing ritual.

Members of the community and Live Oak will be welcome, with a limit of 25 for the group. We will meet in Room 206. Please RSVP to Sylvia Davis, sylviadavis@austin.rr.com.
