Spring Arrives at the Chalice Pathway
Have you been out in the back for a while? Our trail has been given an extra two inches of gravel and looks more substantial now. Also there are wildflowers and blooming redbuds there. We invite you to take a walk soon to see.
Also, if you are one of the people who have harbored the ashes of departed loved ones in a closet or on a shelf in the garage for some time (We understand this is not so rare). We want to remind you that we have space to inter these ashes in a dignified way. We charge a modest fee, and we invite memorial markers. We could also use a few more benches. Talk to any member of the Chalice Pathway Team.
On March 4, 2012, the church dedicated the Live Oak Chalice Pathway. It is a tranquil trail branching off from the labyrinth and opening up to a quiet and secluded setting for meditation, communing with nature, and celebrations of life in all its forms. It is an open area surrounded by trees and wildflowers. The trail continues through a thicket and ends back at the church. We envision this space being used to commemorate milestones such as child dedications, baptisms, weddings, birthdays, graduations and memorial services both within our congregation and throughout our community.

There is a chalice shaped gathering space that seats up to 110 people with a permanent stage. The space is electrified.
