About the Event

The retreat is a faith development opportunity for youth to consider how they are connected to our religious history. The questions for the weekend are rooted in personal beliefs and encourage exploration of the beliefs of our UU faith, the elements that bind us as a faith community, and where participants are on their own faith journey within Unitarian Universalism. The focus will be on beginning to create their own credo.

This is an intense faith development weekend with little downtime. Youth will be expected to honor bedtime curfews, and to participate in all workshops to their ability.

Registration Guidelines

Please note the following guidelines for determining eligibility to register:

Youth must be between the ages of 13 and 18 and part of a Unitarian Universalist congregation to participate. The approval of a religious professional from your congregation is required.

Each congregation sending youth is required to provide a chaperone at the ratio of 1:6. Chaperones should be 25+ years of age and have passed a current (not older than 3 years) background check. [Congregations are responsible for running their own background checks on all adults participating as a chaperone or rover.]

**Prior to attendance at youth events, all participants must disclose any child welfare agency investigation or any criminal or juvenile delinquency arrests, charges, convictions including those involving abuse, violence, sexual misconduct, domestic violence, child abuse, driving while intoxicated or under the influence, firearms or dangerous weapons or similar matters. Event organizers may deny or limit participation based on any of these disclosures.

If you have questions before you register, please contact Carrie Krause, or Sheri Phillabaum,
