Nominating Committee 2005

 The Nominating Committee is meeting during the month of March and is in the process of selecting a slate of officers and trustees who will serve begin­ning in May. For those who are interested in becoming more involved with the workings of the church, you may be approached to fill a vacancy. Please consider the complete job description (President, Treasurer, Trustee, etc.) before responding as to whether or not you would be willing to serve. If you would like to offer names of people who you think would make good candidates to fill board vacancies, contact Eddie Collins of the Nominating Committee (512-873-7803 or tuneman@texas.net).

May 2004

OFFICIAL SLATE OF THE NOMINATING COMMITTEE

The nominating committee has completed its slate of trustees/officers that will be voted on at the congregational meeting on May 23, 2004. Some of the trustee/officer positions require no vote. They are identified as “no vote necessary”. Years following names indicate the year the term expires.

The bylaws of our church allow nominations from the floor as well as the nominating committee’s slate. According to our bylaws, “Any three (3) members eligible to vote may submit a nomination for any elected position at any meeting of the Congregation at which Officers, Board Members, Nominating Committee members or Search Committee members are elected”.

The current nominating committee that prepared this slate is as follows: Joyce Phelps, John Iacoletti, Eddie Collins, Jennifer Carloye, and Bill Dower.

They are identified as "no vote necessary". Years following names indicate the year the term expires. We have also indicated where a person is being nominated to serve a second full term. The bylaws of our church allow nominations from the floor as well as the nominating committee's slate. According to the bylaws, "Any three (3) members eligible to vote may submit a nomination for any elected position at any meeting of the Congregation at which Officers, Board members, Nominating Committee members or Search Committee members are elected."
