Fall Leadership Conference News

Live Oak UU Church is hosting the Fall Leadership Conference for the entire Southwest District! Mark your calendars, November 11-13. Our theme will be ComUUnication, Spreading the Good News of Unitarian Universalism.

Why is this conference so special?

	This is the first time Live Oak will host a district conference at our new church facility.
	Two theme speakers Robert Jensen, well-known for his critique and commentaries on American society and Marge Coreletti, a popular UU Religious Educator.
	A special Live Oak Coffeehouse concert will showcase the loved and well-known group Still on the Hill.
	There will be intriguing morning and afternoon workshops.
	Child care will be available for crawlers to age 12 for attendees' convenience.
	We will provide a movie and a dance Saturday night.
	There will be reduced registration fees for volunteers.

We need your help!

Child care, kitchen help, set-up, clean-up, etc., are all required to make this a successful event. Please sign up. Look for large sign-up boards beginning Sunday, September 25. You’re invited to join the Yahoo group Fall Con email list (fallcon05-subscribe@yahoogroups.com), and our Sunday planning sessions at 7 pm weekly.
