Love Notes, Plus Kicking Off Summer at Live Oak this Sunday!

You do not want to miss this Sunday at Live Oak! We’re going back to summer hours, which means be here by 10:00 am for our one worship service. And what a service it will be — you’ll hear song after song as the Live Oak Choir presents “Year on Fire,” singing some of their most popular songs from this past year, as well as some new pieces of music. Immediately after that, we’ll be having our congregational meeting, voting on new leaders and getting an update from the capital fund committee. And by then, if delicious aromas are floating through the air, it’s because we’ll follow up the congregational meeting with our last “Fed and Informed Potluck” of the church year. Bring something yummy to share — we’ll enjoy lunch while leaders of the different Live Oak committees share what will be happening over the summer months.

We’ll need help with the set up and clean up for Fed and Informed — please sign up today!

You’ll see something new in the Fellowship Hall – a box for Love Notes!

Every month, there will be a different group at Live Oak featured in our “Love Notes” appreciation program. You’re encouraged to grab one of those pink sheets and let the group know how much you appreciate what they contribute to Live Oak life. We’re kicking this off this Sunday with the Live Oak Choir being the recipient — please be sure to stop by the Love Notes box and show your love!
