Burlap background with tree consisting of multicolored hands. Text: This Week in Faith development, Prek Hands on Live Oak, Elementary theme 1st principle: inherent worth and dignity, middle and high school hands on live oak, adults principles in action. Join us. Classes begin at 10 AM.

Here’s what you need to know this week!

Nursery/PreK can use your help. Are you willing to volunteer once a month for a worship service and RE time? Know someone who would like a paid position in our nursery? Please let Carrie know.

Please register if you haven’t already done so. A procedure change to note this year: elementary children will no longer sign in downstairs. Parents should sign them in at the classroom upstairs, preferably by 10:05, which is when class will begin. If you arrive late, please enter quietly as we will begin opening circle on time to allow more class time in our studios. Sign out is upstairs at the same classroom by 10:55.

Middle School and High School are off to a great start so far! As of today the plans for this coming Sunday are to do community service for the church through Hands on Live Oak projects! Bring service forms for school and we can give them credit for their hours! Advisors will reach out with more information later in the week.

Our adult programming begins this week. For more information, please see the DLFD article in the newsletter or visit the Learning pages of the website.

Please consider how you can help in faith development across the ages this year by contacting Carrie Krause. Let’s grow our base of adults sharing the journey with our children, youth, and adults. Many hands make light work and allow for a richer experience for all involved.
