Fuller Conversations: Humanism
Join us next Sunday, April 7, for our next Fuller Conversation on Theology. We will meet at 10 AM in Room 109 to discuss how Humanism has shaped our current theology as Unitarian Universalists. You might want to view this video as an introduction to the class.

Is climate change your justice issue?
Our UUA Common Read discussion on Justice on Earth: People of Faith Working at the Intersections of Race, Class, and Environment will be on April 14 from 12:15 to 2:00 p.m. Bring a lunch and join in the conversation. You need to purchase the book and read it ahead of the class. Please let Carrie know if you plan on participating and if you need childcare. Common Read sign-up

Children & Youth

This month we will explore Transcendentalism and Humanism in our RE classes, beginning with Transcendentalism this Sunday. As we approach the end of our RE year, are you interested in learning more about what we do in our RE classes? Would observing help you feel confident leading over the summer or next year? We are having an open house on April 14th, May 5th or 12th. Of course, parents are always welcome to observe their child’s class, just let us know you are coming.

High School Save the Date: Overnight at Live Oak for members of our high school youth group, May 4-5, 7 p.m. to 10 a.m. the next morning. We will need rovers (four total) and some help with breakfast. A sign-up will be sent out to High School families in the next two weeks. Please step up to help out!

Summer RE Leaders sign-up is now available. See the poster in the Narthex, or sign up online at Books and Cooks.

Remember that you can find the latest information about Faith Development programming on the Learning pages of the Live Oak website or in the newsletter. Please keep yourself informed about what is happening.
