Faith Development 2.24.19

Here’s what you need to know this week!

Adult RE – If you missed last week’s information in the newsletter on the upcoming UUA Common Read discussion on Justice on Earth: People of Faith Working at the Intersections of Race, Class, and Environment, you can read more about it here. The discussion will be on April 14 from 12:15 to 2:00 p.m. Bring a lunch and join in the conversation.

Our next Fuller Conversation for adults will take place on March 3rd and the topic will be Transcendentalism. Please watch for the introductory video next week with resources for you to read ahead of time if you wish.

High School Youth will be going on a social action field trip next Sunday, March 3rd to help the homeless. Families registered for the program have already received information. There is an opportunity for Live Oak members to support the efforts of the organization the youth will be working with. For details, please read the DLFD article this week. You can find it here.

Remember that you can find the latest information about Faith Development programming on the Learning pages of the Live Oak website or in the newsletter. Please keep yourself informed about what is happening!
